About this research project
The primary aim of this study is to enhance the patient experience by utilising design and technology to co-design a digital solution to improve communication between young people with chronic conditions, their caregivers and clinicians from the emergency department such as physicians and nurses.
This study will focus on one key research question:
How might we leverage experience-based design and technology to redefine the way adolescents with complex chronic conditions communicate their medical history and symptoms to clinicians at a paediatric emergency department and improve the patient experience?
